Welcome to our Discworld FanFiction Archive, home to fiction written by fans but set in the universe of Terry Pratchett's Discworld. It is intended as an archive for well-written Discworld stories of all types, be they humor, drama, romance, angst, action or suspense, including but not specializing in slash, AU, ships and het, and rated anywhere from G through NC-17. This project was started by a group of over a dozen fanfiction authors who first met on www.fanfiction.net, and who especially appreciate each other's work. We are happy, however, to consider submissions from other writers.

    Every author here is an enthusiastic fan of Terry Pratchett, and absolutely no disrespect nor copyright violation is intended. Discworld and all of its characters are the sole property of Terry Pratchett. These stories were written by fans for our own enjoyment and the enjoyment of others, solely for entertainment, and never for profit.

    This site is not in any way authorized by that greatest of all writers, Terry Pratchett. Mr. Pratchett has stated publicly that, while he expressly does not give his permission for fanfic authors to use his creations, he would consider it petty and futile to try to stop us. He said, "If it is done for fun and not for money and not presented as if it's some canonical work by the original author, then it comes under the heading of 'What the hell'." However, he also says he prefers not to see it, "just in case some joker decides to claim that I've 'stolen their idea'".

    So let us be clear that none of these stories were written by Terry Pratchett, none of the authors here want to be sued, and none of the authors here intend to sue Mr. Pratchett! With that understanding, come in, make yourself comfortable, and be prepared to immerse yourself in the fanfiction of Discworld.
